What is eJABY? |
|
|
eJABY is a web based bill payment service which
allows consumers to pay most of their recurring bills online, real
time. eJABY manages the entire bill payment process online. Meanwhile
you continue to receive the physical copy of the bill as you used to
before but with value added features like creating a personal Profile
to store your bill payments. With eJABY consumers and depots will find
a wealth of benefits.

Why use eJABY and what is the benefit of using it? |

eJABY is like direct deposit and direct payment, consumers (bill-holder) that pay through eJABY can have
the following benefits:
- Save time; all bills can be paid in one Depot.
- Can pay different bills with different payee in one place.
- Can receive their bills immediately and pay it on-time and with that the bill-holder can be sure that the service will not be blocked or prevented.
- Can view his history payment.
- With his history payment can manage his/her money management.
- No more queues in the Payee offices.
- No more queues at Banks to pay a bill.
- Online, Real-time payments, no more prevent of the service.

Which bills can I pay through eJABY? |
|
|
You can pay most of your recurring bills through eJABY,
at present the service is available only for Jordan Electricity Company,
Jordan Telecom Company. |

How do I know when my payment has been applied? |
|
|
Two ways to know that by:
- A receipt well be printed out to you, explaining the bills and the amount you paid.
- The payment should be reflected on the next bill you receive from the payee.

Do I need the payment receipt? |
|
|
Yes, every consumer must make sure
to receive a payment receipt from the Depot. The payment receipt record
the bills and the amount he paid, every receipt contain a unique receipt
number, with this number the consumer can refer to the payee for any
enquiry. |

How do I view my history
payments? |
|
|
Only consumers with profile can view their history payments by asking the authorized depot employee (Teller) to print out the history for him. |

Do I have to open a Bank
account to use this service? |
|
|
No, you don't have to open a new
bank account to use this service, but if you already have a bank account,
you can pay from
this account "Direct Debit" payment. |

Will my bank account be debited? |
|

It depends on your bank; when they clear the accounts. |

If you have an issue with a specific
payment on a bill, you will need to contact your payee directly. The
receipt number can assist you to check the payment confirmation. |

How do I know if my bill payment was paid? |
|

You can check one of the following to verify your bill payment:
- The payment should be reflected on the next bill you receive from the payee.
- The Payment Receipt reflects that the bill was paid successfully.
- If you have a profile and you added it to it, ask the authorized teller about the paid bills.
- Check your next bill; usually the next bill stated that still you have balance to pay.

Service, with online, real time features. It needs only seconds to do

encryption between the Depot and PaymentCentric, PaymentCentric and the
Payees which is the STRONGEST type of encryption used on the Internet. |

It is not a must to have a Profile,
but if you know the advantages of creating an eJABY Profile, every consumer
will create and have one. |

|
|
Consumers can benefit from eJABY
profile as follows:
- Bill-holder doesn't present his bills next time s/he wants to pay.
- Bill-holders can pay their bills in any depot located in Jordan if the profile number was the Bill-holder Identification number.
- Bill-holders can pay their bills from their bank account if the profile no. was the bank account no.
- Bill-holder can receive their bills instantly once they requesting their profile data.
- Bill- holder with his history payment can control his/her money management.
